I found much to like in this news story about a photographer who has been capturing old cars, as they are reclaimed by nature. You don't need to be a petrolhead to enjoy this either, just to know a good picture when you see one; it's really worth clicking through to...
One of my favourite websites: https://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/

DeleteFantastic. Just love the way they blend in to their surroundings in a way one wouldn't expect.
ReplyDeleteEspecially when nature grows through the cars. Sort of reminds me of that Channel 4 documentary from about 10 years ago, After We're Gone, which imagined overgrown cityscapes after the fall of mankind.
DeleteEvery picture tells a story. I love things like this, and the website Z mentions above.
ReplyDeleteGreat, isn't it? And that website, I just discovered that a hospital I used to occasionally work in during the very early years of my career is now derelict, boarded up and left to be trashed by bored locals. Seems such a shame, was a grand old building. Still, strikes me that lockdown would be the perfect time to do some urban exploring of these derelict spaces...even less chance of getting sprung.
