    She was the darling of the radio schedules during WW2 yet here was still recoding great stuff in her late 70s. Loved her 60s collaborations with Tony Hatch - Don't Sleep in the Subway one of my all-time favourites. Just sounds so 60s (or my 60s at any rate watching prime time telly with my parents).
