Lost lyrics II - the answers

Without further ado, here are the answers last week's lyrics quiz. These are the lyrics as I hear them, so if they're wrong, sorry, give yourself an extra point and move on.

  2. I only came across this yesterday, and it ended up taking far too much of my time (but in a good way!!).

    Got 26....and a half. Had a feeling there would be a Gene lyric somewhere, and so I wrote down their name next to the 23 I didn't get!! Annoyed with myself that the R.E.M, Bunnymen and Radiohead ones didn't come to mind....seeing the answers provide three Homer Simpson 'Doh!' slaps to the forehead.

    32 out of 50. Lots of "oh of course" when you revealed the answers. Never thought I'd forget Kim Wilde.....
