I'm too embarrassed to post my score. Suffice to say it will probably be signicantly lower than most.
ReplyDeleteA lot of work went into this Martin. Thanks
No worries. There was even one I struggled to remember myself, when I came to write this answers post.
DeleteLike CC (but whom I suspect has done loads better than me) I'm too embarrassed to let you know how many (few) I got. But I do have a quite delightfully tingly tongue now after having all those songs on the tip of it.
ReplyDeleteFab stuff, Martin, thank you for all your time and effort compiling it.
You're welcome, of course. Hope there weren't too many "kick-selfs"...
DeleteAnother one who didn't do herself proud but thanks for putting it together. As CC said a lot of work went into it.
ReplyDeleteReading the answers, I can hear the songs perfectly in my head but as I already said, without the melody I'm useless.
In retrospect, I think it might have been quite a hard quiz. What's the saying, only easy if you know the answers...!
DeleteI do like a quiz, and a list - this was both. Thanks for the challenge
ReplyDeleteScore = 64, and looking at the answers I could've (should've) been higher
I reckon anything over half marks is good going!
DeleteA mediocre 58-a few that I should have got but could have waited months for them to come to me! Good quiz, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, it was designed with a few "kick-self" songs in mind, the sort that make you groan as soon as you hear the answer...
DeleteBesides, anything over 50% is good going, I reckon.
DeleteI did very poorly at this. Once, I would have done much better. But thank you for doing it, and for saving me the job of looking up the ones I didn't know. I forced myself to keep away from google, that is my only victory.
ReplyDeleteWorst of all, I thought #4 was Making Plans For Nigel...
DeleteKeeping away from Google is the only victory that matters in this case. And as for #4, well, that's a point for the artist, at least!
