I haven't done one of these for a very long time. I know it cheapens the blog and, by extension, me, but I was surprised to find multiple slagrooms in a Dutch supermarket, and intrigued by the idea of luxe and royale variants. And I hadn't even got to Amsterdam...
At least you know I'm still here, right? I'll try to be back with a proper post soon...ish.

DeleteKeep 'em coming, Martin, I am easily entertained. Clan K had a few holidays in the Netherlands many years ago. Much hilarity ensued on our trips to the supermarket when lil' Lady K would spot "Volle Melk" in the refrigerated section. Maybe she was right and on a farm 10 miles out from Rotterdam, the lovable rotund rodents are being milked on a daily basis to satisfy the Dutch desire for the sweet stuff...
