This is how I will remember her

An unscheduled RIP post for actress Teri Garr, who has died after a long battle with MS.

She had a long and varied career, often in light, comedic roles, but this is how I will remember her - the put-upon, long-suffering Ronnie Neary in Spielberg's excellent Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

As ever, the Beeb has a proper obit. RIP.

  2. Yes RIP Teri, great actress. This reminded me to have another look for the wonderful Scorsese film 'After Hours' and at last have found the full film on Youtube (I think we discussed it on here some time back when we couldn't track it down, so here's the link if you want it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCMKYN7PgEI&t=1123s )

    1. Oh yes, she's very good in that, particularly the scene in which Hoffman confesses he's in love with another woman.
