I saw The Cure a couple of times in 1979 when they were performing 45 minute support slots for Siouxsie & the Banshees and Robert Smith pulled double shifts by playing with both bands. Ten years later I caught up with them again at Wembley Arena, when they played an epic four hour set on the last night of the European leg of the Disintegration tour and I'm pretty certain that I've never heard better sound quality in that big old barn.

ReplyDeleteI'm envious of those gig experiences.
