The shape of that line of toothpaste, Aquafresh's logo since the year dot, is called a "nurdle". Honest. And it's trademarked by the pharmaceutical behemoth that owns the Aquafresh brand, GSK.
Ah, but which came first: The Nurdle or The Swoosh? Look a little similar to me. Anyone know a good trademark lawyer?
ReplyDeleteApparently the key is that a nurdle looks like a wave. The swoosh looks... swooshy?
ReplyDeleteSo it's not a French Curve then? D'oh!
ReplyDeleteApparently not, but I guess a French curve would come in handy for drawing a nurdle (or a swoosh, for that matter).
